Terms of Service

Safety Takes is a campaign organization platform designed to help independent filmmakers plan, manage, and execute crowdfunding campaigns across multiple projects.

Safety Takes provides tools, workflows, templates, and organizational resources.

Safety Takes is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, fundraising, or professional consulting advice.

We do not guarantee:

• —crowdfunding success
• —funding outcomes
• —audience growth
• —sponsorship opportunities
• —financial results

How you use the platform and the results you achieve are your responsibility.

You are responsible for:

• —maintaining the security of your account
• —all activity occurring under your account
• —the accuracy of information you provide

You must be at least 18 years old to use Safety Takes.

Safety Takes offers a free trial, monthly subscriptions, and one-time purchases.

Because Safety Takes provides immediate access to digital services, purchases are generally non-refundable.

If you experience a billing error or technical issue that prevents access to the service, contact us and we will work to resolve the issue.

You retain ownership of your projects, contacts, notes, uploaded content, and campaign information.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to collect, store, and manage any information uploaded to the platform.

We do not sell your data.

If your free trial expires without activating a paid plan, your account enters an inactive grace period during which your workspace is read-only but your data is preserved.

If you do not activate a paid plan before the end of the retention period, your workspace and all of its data are permanently and automatically deleted. This deletion cannot be undone.

Due to platform limitations, the underlying authentication login identity (managed by our hosting/authentication provider) may be retained by that provider in a terminal, access-revoked state and may not be fully removable through Safety Takes alone.

You agree not to:

• —violate any law
• —harass, threaten, or harm others
• —upload illegal or infringing content
• —attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• —interfere with operation of the platform

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We strive to keep Safety Takes available and reliable.

However, the service may experience interruptions, maintenance periods, upgrades, or outages.

Features may be modified, replaced, or discontinued over time.

We are not responsible for losses resulting from service interruptions.

Safety Takes, including its software, workflows, templates, design, branding, and platform structure, is owned by Art School Dropouts.

You may use the platform for your own projects.

You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create competing products based on Safety Takes without permission.

Safety Takes is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safety Takes and Art School Dropouts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.

This includes, without limitation:

• —failed crowdfunding campaigns
• —lost revenue
• —lost business opportunities
• —lost data
• —interrupted production schedules

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Safety Takes during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
